Small Business Saturday is November 28, 2015. As a solo-preneur, who appreciates the support and camaraderie of other entrepreneurs, I encourage everyone to keep it local and support small businesses. Many boast incredible deals in the spirit of Small Business Saturday and the holiday season. These deals include services and techniques that I know can provide me with personal and professional maintenance. This allows me to be at my best, to provide the best quality service to my clients, and to give back to those who need it. Some small business deals I have checked out* include:
Shoey Sindel Photography, which is offering 50% off certain portrait sessions. In the midst of all the work, it is sometimes hard to remember to capture what means most to us.
Elizabeth Lowell massage therapist, which is offering a special deal: purchase three one-hour massage gift cards, get the fourth free, or refer three new clients, get a complimentary one hour massage. Massages are useful maintenance tools, especially after long hours of work involving strain on my arms, neck, shoulders and back.
Wendy Edelstein, Changeover Coaching, which introduced its 60-day changeover challenge. The challenge is designed to help create visions and accomplish goals. Having someone to be accountable to can really help us with the required small steps to achieve big goals.
Marie Bowser Acupuncture is offering a series of meditation sessions to, among other things, help individuals achieve gratitude during this holiday season. Meditation in a similar session has helped me clear my head and focus better.
Innate Chiropractic was offering a free 15-minute maintenance appointment for cash patients. Again, for me, physical maintenance is critical to my optimal performance, mentally and otherwise.
These services can help, both professionally and personally. I hope you will check out some of these, and other, local small businesses. Remember, small businesses keep local economies moving.
