Shepard-Hall v. City of Vallejo, et al.  African American woman, former employee brings claims for race discrimination and harassment, failure to prevent harassment and retaliation, and retaliation.

Frias v. Waste Services Group, et al.  Plaintiff claims employer fails to timely pay sole Filipino American salesperson all his earned commissions and pays him on a quarterly basis while paying Caucasian counterparts monthly for employee's work despite employee providing proof of work. Plaintiff claims employer fails to prevent further discrimination, fails to provide accurate pay statements, breaches implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. 

Arbelaez-Novak v. Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC.  Case alleging former stellar employee was discriminated against due to his mental health disability, denied reasonable and effective accommodation of working from home despite having done so throughout COVID-19 and his job not requiring in-person meetings. Case alleges wrongful constructive termination as Plaintiff was forced to resign due to the hostile work environment and its effect on his health. 

Chius v. GrubMarket, Inc., et al., Alameda County Superior Court.  Case for breaches of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing with respect to salaries, and labor code violations. 

Dela Cruz v. Brennan, US Postmaster General, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.  Former 15-year letter carrier alleges claim of Family Medical Leave Act ("FMLA") Interference for terminating him after he exercised his FMLA rights. 

Cox v. Garnett Signs, LLC, et al., San Mateo County Superior Court. Former decade-long employee alleges Disability Discrimination, Failure to Engage in the Interactive Process, Failure to Provide Reasonable Accommodation, Harassment Based on Disability, Retaliation, and Wrongful Constructive Discharge.

Ho, et al. v. Bay Area Rapid Transit District (“BART”), Alexander v. BART, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Case No. C 15 - 01128 HSG.  Train Controller Trainee- Plaintiffs alleged claims of Failure to Pay Overtime and Failure to Pay Minimum Wage under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) and Unjust Enrichment.

Mendoza v. Satellite Healthcare, et al., San Joaquin County Superior Court Case No. STK-CV-UWT-2017-7047.  Registered Nurse Plaintiff alleged claims of Failure to Provide Meal Periods or Compensation Therefor; Failure to Provide Rest Periods or Compensation Therefor; Failure to Pay Vested Vacation at Termination; Failure to Pay Earned Wages at Termination; Failure to Provide Accurate Itemized Statements; Improper Deductions; Conversion; Unlawful Discrimination on the basis of Gender and Race or National Origin; Retaliation/Violation of Labor Code Section 1102.5; Wrongful Termination as Against Public Policy; Unlawful and/or Unfair Business Practices.

 

Ayala v. Frito-Lay, et al., U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, Case No. C 15 - 01128 HSG.  Dispatcher-Plaintiff alleged claims for Unlawful Sex Discrimination; Unlawful Race Discrimination; Unlawful Disability Discrimination; Failure to Provide Reasonable Accommodation; Refusal to Engage in the Interactive Process; Unlawful Retaliation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act; Retaliation/Violations of Labor Code Sections 98.6, 98.7, and 1102.5; Retaliation for Reports of Safety Regulations/Violation of Labor Code Section 6310.; Wrongful Termination as Against Public Policy.

 

Wilkinson v. HomeStreet Bank, San Francisco Superior Court Case No. CGC-18-566640; U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California Case No. 3:18-cv-03629-JD.  Loan Officer Assistant Plaintiff alleged claims for Unlawful Discrimination based on Age; Unlawful Discrimination based on Sexual Orientation; Retaliation—Violation of Labor Code section 1102.5; and Wrongful Termination in Violation of Public Policy.
